I would consider Flash the winner for all four...right now.

Yes, drawing to the HTML5 canvas is very cool, but could you do a semi complex animation with less than 50 lines of code and still keep the frame rate above 30fps? I've seen HTML5 fail there with several examples provided by Adobe.

Flash still has HTML 5 beat for desktop web applications. The only amazing HTML 5 web app I've seen recently was a photo editing site but there are more than 100 other built with Flex and Flash. I mean look at photoshop.com....but a lot of these will not port well to the mobile space.

I think where HTML5 will really shine is mobile web apps and only because Adobe took so damn long to get the Flash player optimized for mobile and the lack of it on the iOS.

HTML5 is very cool but its currently is an overused buzz word with a lot of hype behind it. It's frustrating.

What were you testing that produced those time results? Download of 1 mb, 2mb, loading a specific page?

Hi Bryan, Chrome Editor certainly looks pretty cool and I especially like the element shortcuts and Zen Coding integration...

I have a couple of ideas / feature requests:

- An option for tying the editor to existing code or to easily copy the source from a specific tab
- The ability to specify a save location code, or to download the code (is it possible to get the download dialog to remember where the user last chose to download to)

Those two features alone would allow for a much tighter integration into most developers' workflows.
